Help DEF contamitated light while towing
I got the warning of reduced to 50 mph
can I tow my 5th wheel like this Home approx 75 miles away??
my batteries died and I think one of them is bad so the codes that I’m getting are not the same as the dashboard DEF warning

edit. Decided to drive it since the speed limit is 45-55 most of the way and the Contaminated DEF/reduced soeed warning went away
still have the CEL codes to figure out after replacing the batteries

replace the batteries and that will probably solve all the issues.
Batteries tend to do weird things since these trucks now are all so electrical and computerized.
For the def if you have a good reader such as the idash it can read the concentration %. 31 to 33% is right in the ball park of what it should be concentration wise.

Replaced the Batteries today and so far no more codes after 125 miles or so.
Didnt think the battery would cause all those errors suddenly someone can spend some big money unnecessarily.
If only it would have a Fault Code that said “battery bad” that would make too much sense. LOL
