This is by far the best thing you will ever do for your truck....HANDS DOWN!!
IMO keep it going and ditch that fan, go with the Hayden 7.3 fan and be done with the visctronic all together. That thing gave me nothing but problems and in your type of heat, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
what is that little oval screen for below the oil cooler mine was completely blown out
i am in the middle of BPD oil cooler and egr cooler replacement its quite a journey accessing that thing
when i got the cooler out i tried to blow through the coolant side of it
it had the flow of a single COCKTAIL STRAW !!!
that's a great suggestion thank you
I'm not a big fan of electronic clutch
just happen to have a 99 f-350 with a 7.3 Hayden clutch I'm not using i need to sell that truck
i keep taking parts off it

disaster has stricken or has it ?
during the big oil cooler egr cooler installation this last weekend something dropped in to #8 intake port i dont know who or when but it happened
when i started it we heard a very strange noise
and i got a code for #8 cylinder not contributing properly
so the next morning i drove it to work 30 miles and the deltas were awesome...
took it to a nearby shop to have the #8 diagnosed
they said it was only 300 compression on that cylinder so im guessing something went down the port and bent the valve
anyways i need a shop to fix it anybody know any good shops?
