I am responding to an ad locally of a T-19 from a 80's 460 RWD (2WD). I am pulling the I6 300 in my '78 and putting a 390 and decided to install aT-19. I don't know much of the T-19's. the seller indicated there are PTO's and the rear yoke is "fixed"? His picture doesn't show the yoke well. I am waiting for a better picture. Does anyone have a picture of a RWD T-19? I'm hoping to use a single piece driveshaft. Can that be done with the T-19 if it has a fixed yoke?
Doug,
I don't have a picture of a T-19 Transmission.
IRT your question about a one piece driveshaft, from my experience if your truck is a long wheel base, you'll be required to use a mid-shift commonly called a carrier bearing. which will be two driveshafts The mid-shift bearing provides the required driveline angel that eliminates pre-mature universal joint failure. If your truck is a short wheel base, you can use one rear driveshaft.
Fixed yoke question. I may not be understanding the question, but I have not seen any RB 135 or T-19 four speed transmissions without a fixed rear yoke, others on the forum may chime in and correct me.
On a different subject, see your in PA, I'm originally from Burgettstown 15021 Zip code, ~ 18 miles West of Pittsburg, former coal and strip mine area.
I am thinking the fixed yokes were long beds or CC DRW trucks.
Short beds had a slip yoke at least my 81 F100 flare side that came with a T18 and the NP435 that I put in to replace the T18.

edit My parts truck was a 81 F100 long bed with a SROD that had a slip yoke 1 pc drive shaft also now that I think of it.
