Weird miss fire problem
I have a 92 f150 with 4.9 and 5 speed and she is a great running rig. I do 100 miles a day in her but, she's come up with an issue I can't figure out and I don't want to drive it missing this bad. It's only missing on cylinder 3. No matter what it will not hit on that cylinder. I've done the normal, check plugs, cap and rotor, wires, injectors, everything seems to check out. There is no weird residue on the plug, cylinder looks great on inside by borescope, but no fuel residue on plug. Pulled the injectors and put the number 3 in the number 1 cylinder and the miss did not move. All sensors are brand new as i decided to replace them when I began to drive it farther every day. I'm at a loss. Seems as if the injector is not getting fire. I think I may need to get into the harness and look at the wiring, something just seems strange to me. Truck was running perfectly good one day, the next it has this horrible miss. Any advice or tips is greatly appreciated.
