Looking at the TB’s, I noticed there was a difference there as well. The jasper intake has two vacuum ports coming from the side of the throttle body where the original TB does not. Is this a f250 thing? Which one should I put on? Does it matter?

As I have no cat, I’m going to run the air pump stuff off the Jasper engine. Close up the tube from the exhaust. I’ll update for anyone in the future lol

As for the emissions, here in Colorado they don't check for emissions equipment, just the sniffer test. Also they check the gas caps (affects emissions somehow)

Jasper TB with two vacuum lines (don’t know what for)

OG TB with no vacuum ports

Jasper exhaust manifold

OG exhaust manifold, pretty similar 🤷‍♂️
If you're going to use the Jasper engine, I would use the Jasper throttle body.
Those lines are EVAP system lines. They carry fuel vapors from the fuel tanks, to the throttle body (Green dots), by way of the charcoal canister, that's in the area below the battery.

The blue dots are the Canister Purge Solenoid. That solenoid opens when the computer grounds it, and let's fuel vapors through. The difference in the EVAP lines configuration, probably isn't a big deal.
I just wasn't sure that the center to center measurement of the exhaust Y pipe, where it flanges into the exhaust manifolds was the same, between the two engines, but I don't have specific reason to think they're different. Might be worth measuring.

Howdy yall
Progress has been made

Engine is in, the exhaust fits up (just need to use the pry bar a little to make the flanges lines up)

I do have a question, there is a difference in vaccum lines.

there seems to be two sets of vaccum lines that go to the canister. Not sure what to do there. I will attach some vac diagrams to see if y’all can help me out where to route or just cap them.

I’m trying to get it all together and running this weekend

Extra vac lines from f250 air pump system

Some direction on what to do here and routing would be greatly appreciated!

I don’t see any other major difference in the equipment of this engine, but I’ll update if I do.

Looks like the F250 had two vacuum reservoirs. Ford must have reasoned that the F250 would spend more time at higher throttle openings than the F150 and still wanted EGR and the AIR bypass/diverter to work.

An AC truck would have another vacuum reservoir on the heater box next to the evaporator.
Take a look there.
Also, I believe the white vacuum line is the one that operates the vac valve at top of heater box near hood hinge

‘96 F250 vac reservoir. If you need more pics, let me know. Same thermactor system as your replacement Jasper engine.

Jumping into this thread, trying to test egr valve, should I be able to pull a vacuum like this? Using this method I cant pull a vacuum or have the valve move. Have code 332 in CM, sensor tests ok.

That EGR valve should hold vacuum and the pintle valve move when doing so
Maybe the diaphragm is leaking

Thanks! That's what I thought just confirming before I replace it. If I push the spindle from the bottom it moves, so I know its not stuck.

when I tested mine, I put a clear hose on the vacuum line and then manually sucked on the other end. I could easily move the valve open/closed
with my suction applied.
