MOZwell
-i knew i had leaky valve covers so today new gaskets arrived with new rad and new vac hoses.
Then i checked the leaky pass. ex. manifold bolts and besides the broken one, theyre all loose, about 5ft/lbs, and valve covers were even looser, maybe i didnt even need gaskets?
SO Mozwell change that gasket too.! Where do i get one of those REMflex almost leakproof gaskets?[designed for headers but im told are good for old rusty leaky stock manifolds too]
OR do i really need them since my bolts were all loose? although one is broke at front and i dont have a shop fulla tools to fix that
Then investigating the groaning sound i heard at startup i noticed fan pulley is very loose, bearing in waterpump must be going/gone even though it doesnt leak.
SO all the accesory brackets gotta come off anyways.
MOZwell paint those ford blue too since already have valve covers off and intend to paint them with air cleaner too.
Since pulley and fan are off laying around at same time might as well paint pulley Ford blue too and fan black like rad support.
then i guess the inner fenders and supports etc are all gonna need cleaning up,
so i MOZwell paint them up black at same time.
Then if i decide i need to install this new rad, i MOZwell paint the entire rusty rad support area, in and outside
I just pressure washed the box out which is rapptor type lined a longtime ago and well used and used portions are rusting again so
MOZwell RE-paint those rusty patches black too.
Needless to say i will be busy and truck will be down for a week or so.....
i should definitely take a before pic under the hood and front of truck
