Different 1st/2nd Synchronizer Assemblies for T18?
I’m pretty new to rebuilding transmission but I figured I’d take a crack at it to teach myself. I’m noticing that some folks who take apart their T18 transmission have different 1st/2nd Synchro Assemblies. I’ve attached photos showing the different styles. Is it possible to swap either one into my T18 or would it affect all my other gears? Also can someone explain why there are two different versions and when each version was used.
