pedestal assemblyoil leak?
i have 95 psd f350 308,000 milesand still strong.have leak at a linkage rod from pedestal assembly,ford wants $600 for new assembly also wants exchange.can this be rebuilt easily and cheaper
any info on situation wood b appreciated

A revised seal is available from Ford to repair the leak from the EBP actuator. The part # for your '95 is 2C3Z-9P466-BA. I found this info on dieselmann's page. He is a Ford technician who provides free info for diesel owners. The pedestal will have to be removed in order to replace seal (involves removing turbo also). Be sure to replace O-rings under turbo. Seepage is normal, but if it's leaking bad you'll have to replace the seal or pedestal assembly. I have not replaced one as yet, but it seems to be a fairly straight forward operation.
