No major differences. Length and input are the same. Mounting is the same. Output will vary, especially 4x4 vs. 4x2 or one from a heavier truck with a tail mounted parking brake.

It sounds like you've got a transmission from a later vehicle. These Borg Warners were used on many different trucks and vans of various brands. If you call Novak I feel sure they can help you with that. I called with a question and they were very helpful.
