TBC ground problem
I have verified that the ground on the trailer has continuity with the truck chassis. that eliminates the 7pin socket, the connector behind the socket, the 7 pin plug and the trailer wiring. I even removed a bit of insulation from the ground wire right behind the connector and it shows continuity to the chassis. However, there is no continuity between the ground wire where it plugs into the TBC and the chassis.
The TBC harness ground wire is a #20 with white insulation. The 7 pin connector ground wire is a #10 with black insulation with a white stripe.
I have not been able to find a wiring diagram to show where thTBC connector ground wire goes. I have searched and found numerous wiring diagrams for Ford F250's but not for the 2009 model year. does anyone have a link to a 2009 ford TBC wiring diagram? Or better yet, does anyone know the location of the other end of the ground wire that goes to the TBC connector ?
