Power folding side mirror
I have a 2013 F350 Lariat CC 4x4. The drivers side power folding mirror has started acting up. Sometimes it works flawlessly, other times it works partially. I always hear the motor running but it will fold or unfold part way and it makes a popping sound. Is this fixable or does it need replacement? Thanks

I don't know that it is fixable, it might be, but replacement tends to be costly. I have heard some of these mirrors, depending on options, can run north of $1k/each. Unless you can find one in a junkyard.

I’ve seen some videos where it’s fixable, but it looks like a pain in the a$$, my mirror on my 2012 was doing the same thing, I was able to find a Ford OEM mirror on a Ford parts website for about $360, which is the heated, power, folding, and telescoping, changing it out was pretty easy. I don’t remember the website right off hand, I’ll look around and see if I can find it.

Had the same problem on my2011 F250. I took the mirror to the bench and took it apart using the info from the link above in post #3.
I cleaned and greased the pivots and now it has been working fine.
It is a real pain in the a$$ to work on.
