1996 e150 conversion van ac issues

I have searched far and wide, and tried many steps to fix my issues. I come to you all, for advice. My van blows no air at all through the vents, not even on high. I have replaced the blower motor resistor, that didn't work. I tried a second resistor, nothing. The blower motor runs great on a bench press with 12v.

It's just my hvac controls do nothing for the fan. All except when switching the unit from max ac/normal/vents etc, the little actuator under the dash panel does move. I will note, I even tried another hvac control unit on the van.

All the fuses related to the air conditioning are fine, tested with a multimeter,.. heck Every single fuse is fine.

I am mechanically minded and have worked on many of my own and others vehicles. I just can't seem to get this ac to blow. I've been trying to figure this issue out, for more time than I'd like to admit, but we can all agree google searches and youtube search is trash these days, especially for e series ford's.

If someone can chime in and help, that would be greatly appreciated! I'm willing to troubleshoot and report back diligently, (I won't just reply "fixed", for the user with the same issue's, and leave".

Thank you.

There are 2 fuses and a relay needed to run the blower motor. This electrical diagram shows the components
https://charm.li/Ford%20Truck/1998/E.../With%20A%2FC/

Check fuse 13 (15 amp) in the I/P fuse panel. And check the 50 amp fuse #13 under the hood along with the relay.

Has the dash-mounted blower motor SWITCH been physically and electrically checked for a failed part?

I have check all fuses visually and with a multimeter on the fuses just to make sure. Woah! Honestly in my many hours of searching, I did not know about the relay on the driver side close to the firewall. The contacts on it look a little crusty, maybe even burnt on one

The one up top seems to be the blower relay, what is the other connection? They were both crusty, so I have them removed right now and doing a bit of cleaning. They are the same relay type.

Edit- top one is definitely done for

The other one doesn't look too far off. I can't seem to find this one at a parts store online, might have to order two.

I appreciate the help! I will find some more relays and let you know how it goes. Seriously google search is so degraded these days, I have done so many hours of searching and nobody mentions a relay.

Relay info

https://charm.li/Ford%20Truck/1998/E...lower%20Relay/

These relays are common to many Fords of the same era. I would harvest some from a self serve junkyard....but I like that kind of stuff. If you bring the relay to a good auto parts store they will find a replacement. The configuration of these relays is very common.

I did find replacements at the auto part store. The blower and ac are working now (after a recharge for ac). Wooh hoo! I put in 36oz. However there's a tag that since I have a rear ac system as well, I need to add 4.5oz over normal.

The rear blower was not working at first. I removed the cover at the rear of the van and saw a nice big plug was unhooked. I re-attached it and the rear blower started working, but even in the off position. However, changing the blower speed settings on the dash does work.. just doesn't turn off. Also it is not cold coming from the rear vents.

Check the aux blower motor relay. It may be stuck "on".

Others on this forum are AC experts and will be more helpful. I know there is an expansion valve and evaporator back there. I don't know how to troubleshoot it.
