So I have my 2002 F-250 7.3. Unsure as to which rear end it has as the stickers are all too worn to read. I found a gentleman parting a 2000 250 out. The rear driveshaft fits on the splines but I have the yoke plate with bolt holes on the rear and and the drive shaft he pulled has U-Joints. Are the yoke’s interchangeable or am I out of luck?
both trucks have the exact same Sterling 10.5" axle. The seller likely screwed something up or it's from a different rig. got a picture of the donor axle? You'll need to verify the same gearset (likely 3.73) if you have a 4x4. axle code is on your doorjamb sticker
you can use the axle from any 1999-2004 F250/350 (single wheel, no dually) and 2000-2005 Excursion
just be careful with 1999 models as a donor. some of them had the caliper on drivers side flipped from where your current axle is
2005+ trucks have a similar Sterling 10.5" axle, but it's almost 4" wider

Go to a Ford dealer they can use your vin number and print a copy of the window sticker that shows every option the truck had from factory. I just did this on my 2016 as I had the same question about my differential gearing.
