Hey everyone, I started my F350 the other day and I am leaking a lot of antifreeze from the drain that is circled. Does anyone know if a drain plug is supposed to be in there? If so does anyone know the part?

That's a place a rubber hose attaches with a semi stiff closed end on mine, it lets the water collected on the evaporator core to drain out on the ground and not in the floor. If dripping engine coolant, you either have a leaking heater core or a loose ill fitting heater hose.

Hey tbear, thanks for the reply. That is a big help to try and diagnose the issue.
X2 drain for condensation. X3 sorry to say I bet bad heater core. Is it leaking INSIDE the cab on the passenger side floor board or out onto the ground? As in the passenger side inner fenderwell /bottom of the cab front corner area?

It is leaking out onto the ground. I shut the truck off after I noticed. Then I started the truck to back it into the garage and noticed it wasn't leaking. Figured I had probably run all the antifreeze out of the system.

I recently had a couple instances of a leak hitting the ground there under the box under the hood, was where I had just swapped new heater hose on and had just not gotten the hose clamps tight enough. An extra quarter turn on them cured it. The leak if coming out the drain or if running down from the heater hoses will hit the ground about the same.
Sometimes a leak present when coolant is hot will not show with cool coolant as the system isn't up in pressure.
