Trouble with Excursion LSD, anbody?
The limited slip differential on my 00 Excursion diesel stopped functionin at about 10k miles. I don't get off road much and certainly haven't done any really hard 4-wheeling that would put the LSD to hard use.
The dealer replaced it under warrantee but did a poor job. Now I have gear oil leaking and loud gear whine. Monday they take it back to get it right.
Anybody else have trouble with their LSD? It's an option so not every Excursion has it.

I got the Limited slip option on my 2001 but havent used it yet--only have 600 miles on it--how do u know when it isnt working? Noise? slippage I presume?
