I need help identifying this carb. 1970 F250 Camper Special with a 390, 4-speed manual, PS, PB, AC. No identifying marks that I can see. I'm looking to replace the steel fuel line from pump to carb - new steering pump bracket interferes with it. Any suggestions on the correct fuel inlet fitting I'll need to connect a 3/8 flexible hose? Thank you! Front view Front view Driver's side view
Looks like the standard Autolite 2150 to me. I don't see a tag attached to it, meaning finding the exact kit for it may be a little tough to find, but these are pretty universal, so I wouldn't sweat it too much.
As for the fuel inlet fitting, it's just a standard 5/16" double flare, so you should be able to pick that up dang near anywhere (hardware store, auto parts store, etc).
Then again, take a second and put an open-end wrench on that line to verify it's not a 3/8".
Seriously...Sucks when you're trying to hold two thoughts in your head at the same time....when you get old(er)....
Based on what I can remember, the 2100's had a curved back (mounting surface), while the 2150's had a straight/flat back. Plus, I think the 2150 came online somewhere around 1972, which, if this carb is OEM (who knows!) would mean it can't be a 2150.
Based on all of that, this carb does look to be 2100.
To the OP (and anyone else reading this): My apologies for being in a hurry and not proof-reading my response.
