I'm wanting to do some body work on my truck at work and the garage is heated by a wood stove when i go to primer and paint will the fumes cause an explosion hazzard when they drift tward the stove?
i wouldnt take any chances. i work for a fire department and ive seen strange things happen in garages that you wouldnt think could happen. plus i dont thinks a wood burner would be good
because of the soot in the air. i could be wrong, have been before.

When I use propane to heat, I heat the building until the temp of the metal reachs 70 degrees or so. Then I turn the heater off, paint & allow the fumes to clear. After the fumes are clear, I restart the heater.
Using an open flame while painting is just asking for trouble.
