It comes on sooner and pulls a lot harder.

I'm pleased with mine. Less crap to go wrong than the previous engines I've had (3.5TT and 6.7PS). It does what I need it do without complaint. MPGs, meh. I'm getting almost as good as the dually PS I had for commuting.

2021 7.3 4:30 rear. 70K miles on odometer. Used as farm truck work in surveying daily driver. No issues just do maintenance and drive it. I did for the first time since owning it did a hand wash vs just power washing it every so often. Sorta detailed the inside a bit. I tow hay tractor other equipment and cattle. I change the oil based on the oil monitor and when I have a chance. Most have been done between 20%. One at 30% because a trip was coming up and one done at 10% just because every weekend it rained and couldn’t get it done. Great truck.

Love mine. As stated earlier, big improvement over the 6.2. Better than the 2000 V10 but I did like the low end torque on the V10 and manual transmission set up I had. That V10 was better than the 6.2.

Love mine.
25k miles. Pulls my 8k lb enclosed trailer up Jellico Mtn in Ky fine. The 10 speed sure is smooth.
MPG's, not a concern and is what one would expect from a big engine
