I start in my year truck area 80 - 86
Some times I start at the oldest unread, others the newest unread and even others one that catches my eye.
I read all of the unread in my area then either work my way down the list of older trucks or go to the 200 / 240 / 300 motor area as I have a 300 in my 81 F100.
I also check out my state's chapter.
Then I may hit some of the other areas like paint / body work, cooling / heating if something looks good.
There is also another 80- 86 Ford truck forum I visit / member of.
And if I dont spend enough time on them I also hit MyTractor.com forum for my John Deere 445 tractor and a motor bike forum for my 83 Honda GL650i Silver wing.
Yep no life

ps I am working on down the old truck list and how I got here
Dang Dave, you are all over the place.
I go to this forum and the Missouri chapter forum and that's about it. Sometimes I will look at the Y-block forum.
But the two take enough of my time.
I never look at everything. I scan the page and just look at the titles that interest me or the ones I've replied to in the past. After that, I look at the ones that possibly contain a question I can answer or the ones started by my long-term friends here. After that, I'll click on a few more and poke around. I try to check in at least once daily. For about the first four years of my membership here, this was my only "social media" experience.
I have gone from being here everyday to having time twice a month or so. I scroll the subjects, check the replies for the old crowd and then read a few that look good to me.
Im glad to see many of the old friends and builders on here and i miss some of the ones that left.
First thing is the threads I'm subscribed to, then the Missouri chapter page, then the parts for sale/wanted page, then the 48-56 page. It's seldom more than a couple of days since I last looked and usually I check in every day.
I check FTE 48-56 forum several times a day. Sometimes if I'm bored I'll go to 47 and older forum. I used to go to the Y Block page but it is very very slow so I haven't gone there in a long time.
But I haven't given my answer.
I usually open the oldest threads first before they go to page 2. Unless, I see a big thread that is very interesting or funny, like the one Jules started years ago! Next, I'll to a thread I started or posted to. Then one that is about stock 53-56 trucks. Then I'll look at long running threads like "derelict and Abandoned junkyards", the "Truck Humor" thread, "Oddball pics" and "Vintage Pics of days gone by."
And mixed in that order I open threads started by members I have met personally. And if course if there is a new post in the Want Ads I'll click on that.
