My current truck - 17 F150 Lariat has a spray-in bed liner from Line-X. At the time I ordered the truck Ford was having problems with the OEM spray-in bed liners so I had to go to Line-X after delivery.
I plan on ordering a new truck toward December / January and one of my must-haves is a spray in liner. I'd like to hear from anyone that has the OEM Ford spray-in liner about how happy or unhappy you are with it.
After almost 8 years my Line-X liner looks almost new. The Line-X liner has a lifetime warranty. Ford's liner is only covered under the 3/36 warranty. The Line-X liner can be had in virtually any color. Ford's can be any color as long as its black. If the Line-X liner is damaged, you bring it back to the company that applied it and its fixed for free. If the OEM liner is defective the dealer will fix it (how?).
If you have the OEM liner in your truck, how happy are you with it?
If you research the OEM liner, you will find that the LineX is far superior in just about every way. The Ford liner isn't really a Ford installed item. It's installed by a third party a vendor on the factory grounds.

I don’t have any complaints about my factory liner. I ordered my truck with it. I did put a rubber bed mat down only to keep things from sliding around.
I have two trucks with the factory spray in and I guess they do what they are supposed to do. I have a mat in my truck because I throw a lot of stuff in it and I wanted extra protection. If I had to do it over I would have just went with Line x because it wasn't much more money and it the Line X is a far superior product.
I liked my Ford spray in liner (in my 2016 F150) far better than my Line-X in my 2020 F350. I never had an issue with my Ford Liner, my Line-X liner stained from hauling bushes & Line-X refused to fix it. My new truck has a Ford Spray in Liner.
