The two most popular around here are Line-x and Rhino Liner, with a slight edge probably to Line-x. Line-x is harder and it's warranty extends to all Line-x dealers. Rhino is a little softer and it's warranty is only god at the dealer it is sprayed at (except I guess now they have a deal where a dealer can pay more to be in a special group and then the warranty is good at any dealer in that group). Line-x doesn't grip the cargo as much as Rhino liner does.
I think the biggest difference is going to be the dealer though. So try to find guys in your area who can recommend a dealer that did a good job. They should take all the bed and tailgate hardware out and mask off the cab and bed sides to avoid overspray, stuff like that.
It will probably run in the nieghborhood of $400-600 depending on bed length, and if you have them spray the rails, etc.
I dont have one yet either. But thr Rhino liner commercial says its under $100 dollars for thiers.Maybe someone that has used this can chime in I'd be interested also
Dryfly, are you sure that is not the Herculiner commercial? That is the only one I can remember saying it is under $100. Herculiner is a do it yourself roll on liner. It is very affordable but does not hold up nearly as well as any spray in liner. And if you ever wanted to put a spray in liner afterward you would have a lot of work to do removing the herculiner first.
Youy are rite.I thought I was wrong when I was typing.Anyeay you say they dont last very well.Well that will explain the price. Thanks beerstalker.By the way Arent there laws against stalking?

I've had the rhino liner since our 04 was new. Loaded pallets of corn seed in the bed. the fork driver took one look at what I had and said that he could slide the pallet forward with no problem to the front of the truck. Well I held the brakes. He could not budge the pallet. We had to lift it up and put cardboard under the pallet so it would slide. the cardboard didn't move on the bed when he pushed on the pallet.
What should this cost?
Should I use the Ford Factory Product? (For Warranty reasons?)
What is the recommended product from you experts?
B
Why a liner? Are you going to haul any payload? What kind of payload?
The reason for the questions...is that the spray-on products are GREAT, but do offer some draw backs. Like...they do keep items from sliding in the bed, but they also hold gravel in place. Ever try and sweep the dirt, sand, or gravel out after a load? Dang...it takes some kind of stiff broom.
OBTW: I know...because I have a Rhino spray-on. Would I do it again...???...NOT SURE.
From what I've heard, the DIY stuff is garbage. I've never used it, so I wouldn't know...
I've heard the same but I have a friend that used it in the back of his 90 Bronco he uses for rock crawling. I'm not sure of the brand (Durabak or Herculiner?) but the stuff still looks good.
He tried Line-X but it was too brittle. Each time he had a little body flex it would crack and flake off. he sand-blasted the whole thing and used a roll-on liner.
I was thinking getting some roll-on stuff for the plastic parts (bumper, running boards, etc.) and the bed.
