Crane Cam?

Has anyone used this Crane Cam in there 300? The part number is CRN-503905 from the summit racing equipment catolog. Heres the link to the website. I just want something a little bit more than stock would this be a good cam to use?

if its the powermax cam then i have it. i swapped it into my 93 300 and it gave it a shot in the ****. i mean, it pulls so much harder through out the powerband and seems like i gained 50hp (realistically probaly 15). this is a torquer cam and will give u a better power range from idle to WOT. also, i have my timing set @ 14 degrees BTDC and it seems to be fine.

I went to the Crane site a while back - searching for the spec's on the 503905 (truck cam). The only thing I found was a cross-reference to their 503901 Powermax.

Optikal - do you still have the box/specs on the 503905? I find it a bit hard to believe that the two cams have the same spec's.

Thanks,

Thanks, Chuckman

Looks like the EXACT same specs as the 503901. Oh, the power of marketing...

Unfortunately, I can't get the cam spec card to pull up on the 503905..arghhh.

Got it - they appear to be identical...

You might want to look again. If it's in the Summit Truck section, they list the 503905 under "Cams" - after the "Cam and Lifter Sets".

If you have it somewhere else, WITH LIFTERS, please post where!
