Just joined this site not sure what to do. My son has a tan 2000 excursion V10 7.3. Codes are coming up on transmission speed sensor. Changed 1 I am not a car guy I do know that these are the top of the line engines dont want to screw anything up. My son doesnt want to put any more money into it. Was offered 2500 but I believe its worth more. no codes coming up on engine at all that I can see I dont own an advanced code reading device. I need your help or am looking to sell. Figured someone might be interested, dont just want to junk it

No, he can either have a V10, which is a 6.8 liter gasoline engine, or he can have a 7.3, which is a V8 diesel engine, can't be both. But with either engine the transmission should be similar in that its a 4R100. Since you're not car guys, you should probably take it to a shop to be diagnosed and repaired
