Hello guys.
1990 f150 , 302 manual transmission lariat.
i am about 400 miles away from home and with friends.
i just noticed that the right front Chrome locker is leaking a tiny amount of grease where is meets the hub, and there are a few splash marks on the chrome beauty ring.
i undid the Allen bolts and had a look, looked fine to me.
im driving home tomorrow across the mountains and would really appreciate your thoughts on this.
thanks in advance Roy.
ps my neighbour gave me a ton of free fire wood which brought to the folks we are staying with , so the bed was heavily loaded on the way here, but going home empty ..kindness is free ..
It is normal for that O-ring to sling some grease
Just wipe the grease off
Not much grease is necessary in those plastic locking hubs
When you put a bunch of grease inside the plastic hub, the grease will sling out worse
New O-rings come in a small parts kit 3K104?
