Steeing wheel swap 08 to 96?
I guess this would be the correct place to put this maybe this should go in cosmetic/dress up?
Had an 08 XLT 6.4 for two years, loved the steering wheel and simplicity of it. It reminded me of the OBS. Better than 1st and 2nd gen super duty wheels by a long shot.
Am wondering and am trying to find info on how one would be able to fit in a 96 XL truck. I only need the horn to work and that's it as I don't have cruise control or anything else through wheel. On Ebay I have found the same XLT wheel (without speed control on the left side, so two blank spots) but none have a direct picture of spline lineup. I also don't know if the two or three pins for the horn would line up.
Any information on this would be helpful and I have not been able to find a lot by searching other than a small video from someone swapping a 21+ wheel into an obs..... ???
