2009 Sync Problems

2009 Sync Problems
I am new to this forum. I have tried all the processes people have posted. I have a 2009 f150 xlt. The display unit stay lit for about 30 seconds then goes black but the radio still works. I am trying to update it and maybe it will stay on. Can someone please help me?

I know I am surprised also. I have been driving beat up old cars until now. I have finally been able to buy a truck now that wife and kids all have decent vehicles. I was just seeing if there was anything I could do to keep the radio and update the truck.
