My 90 f-150 has been pulling to the right even after I checked the calipers and wheel bearings. When I am coming to a slow stop (about 10-15mph) I can feel the front end of the truck wobble from side to side. Does anyone know what this symptom points to before I go in and get ripped off?
I just had the wheels aligned and that took care of the steering wheel pointing the wrong direction, but the wobble is still there.(the tires were balanced before that) My rotors are obviously warped so next thing is the to turn them and maybe replace the calipers because it occasionally pulls to one side. The alignment guys said my camber was off about 2 degrees between the two wheels but that my camber adjusters needed to be replaced to be properly adjusted. I'm leaving that for now. I'm wondering if anyone has any ideas about how to do all this or getting it done. I'm pretty good with repairs but I'm not sure I want to get into replacing ball joints. Also, does anyone reccommend any particular brand of brake parts? Wordy, I know. Thanks for your help!
