Granger ESP - Exceptional Service

Hi folks,

I wanted to drop this post for anybody considering using Granger for their ESP purchase. I had previously purchased an ESP for my F150 from them and it went smooth and easy. Last September I stepped up to a F250 and Granger transferred my coverage with no problems and also made it very easy.

2 weeks ago life threw me a wicked curveball and my circumstances around needing the truck changed. Canceling my ESP couldn’t have been easier. They had advised I’d get a refund check so I figured it would be some time. Granger actually UPS Overnighted the check once they had processed it.

I would not hesitate for a minute to purchase another ESP from Granger.

I hope my experience helps others if they are in the ESP market.

Good to know. I plan on having my truck paid for in the next 2 to 3 months this week and will be considering an ESP from Granger in the next year or so.

That is some great news to hear about Granger and their customer service. That should be the norm not the exception.

Q: Did you ever use the ESP plan for a repair of your truck? From what I have read buying an ESP plan is only part of the experience but do the dealers/Ford fully back and seamlessly honor Grainger’s plan, I assume bumper to bumper?

The ESP Granger sells is no different than a Ford Protect plan sold anywhere else. You get the same backing and service no matter where it's purchased. The servicing dealers just see that you have the coverage, where it was purchased makes no difference.

Coverage depends on which Protect plan you choose, but even the PremiumCare plan might not be as comprehensive as the factory bumper to bumper warranty.

The plan Granger sells is the Ford plan and will work seamlessly at any Ford dealer. Now, some Ford dealers are easier to work with than others when it comes to factory warranty claims or Ford extended warranty claims, but that is a different situation.

I purchased an ESP (now called Ford Protect) from Granger just last week. The process was simple and the policy was in effect within 24 hrs. Would buy again...check back with me in 2031.

Yes, this is on my list of things to do, currently only have about 2,800 miles on my truck. Is there any difference in pricing if I wait a year or so before purchase? or should I just buy it now?

Price goes up $100 after the first 1yr/12k miles. They also have across the board plan pricing increases. Im not sure how frequently, maybe once a year?...and it's not a huge amount.

Just to confirm, since I'm buying this warranty this week from Granger, I should buy the PremiumCare, right? I've read that there is a diesel care plan too, but it's that for fleet?

My truck hits 36months in 2 weeks so I want to get the 10yr/100k plan ASAP.

@mhollem PremiumCare covers the most. It would cover Diesel Fuel Injectors, Line, Pump as well as much more!

Good to hear. I didn't even know the plan was transferable.
I was happy to be able to use my remaining Ford points, and pay the rest in 0% interest payments.

I'm about to buy the 10yr 100k warranty. I currently have 30k miles on my truck. Does the warranty go to 100k or 130k?

100k, it starts from the in service date and miles.

I will just say Lombard Ford took 60 days to mail my refund check and they would NOT match Granger when they were $100 above cost. So, once I got my refund check. I bought my new warranty from Granger. Very simple process.
