On my 1987 broncos 5.0 efi the wiring that goes to the TFI is in what appears to be silver tape. There’s also a ground wire without insulation ran with the TFI wires (and also inside the silver tape).
this non insulated ground is bolted to the drivers side fender below hood. The other side of the ground is free (not connected to anything ). Where should this end be connected?
After seeing that shielding back in the eighties
I wrapped and added the same shielding (tin foil and wire) to my CD player input wires into my amps
I was driving a 69 Camaro with solid plug wires at the time
It helped some
