Turbo hiss?
Hey y’all I have had my 04 6.0 powerstroke 350 for about a year and the turbo has not worked properly , I recently installed a sct X4 flash tuner to try to see if I can wake it up and the turbo still isn’t spooling that great so I changed out my solonid and now when it’s plugged in it emits a hissing noise from around the turbo when I give it gas , I was told I could have blown turbo boots or the gaskets in the turbo have gone bad or just from it or working properly it’s clearing it’s self out , let me know what you guys think thanks !

If there exhaust coming out a cracked flex joint/bellow there will most likely be tell tale soot marks close by. I replaced my up pipes and delete pipe a while back and it was a real PITA, but if a nincompoop like me can do it than anyone can, but those with big bank accounts should just pay someone else to do it lol
