long story short i bought a dump truck from a local farmer for basically nothing. needed a bunch of stuff, but the truck is all there and the dump bed is worth more than i paid.
fast forward a month or so. I changed a bunch of parts -
Starter solenoid
new battery
new ICM
new rad
new tstat
new coolant overflow
working on new interior and seats due to mice smell and sitting forever.
anyways. we drove it to my house when i bought it. the dash is working perfect. did all this work and now the dash wont light up or have any action at all when i turn the key. I tripled checked all my work, checked fuses, and etc and still nothing. I can jump the starter solenoid and crank it over but it still wont start.
yes the battery has been tested. its also brand new. fires up my other OBS dump with ease..
anyone run into this before? looking for some pointers.
You got headlights?
Check your fuse links at the fender mounted starter solenoid
Those are what provide the power for the ignition switch
The ignition switch itself may have come apart

I DO NOT have lights. I checked everything and it looks ok. changed all the fuses in the in cab fuse box (had them so might as well for old age sake). NEW ignition switch. still nothing.
Wait a second... Do you have those cheesy "repair" style battery terminals on your battery cables? Those are known to cause all sorts of head aches.
