2003 stx

hey i was wondering is there a chip or something that i can install in my 2003 STX to boost performance and or gas milage, it is the six cylinder and a standard. thanks for any info

Here's the exact url to go to. Scroll down until you get to the bar with the hp/torque gains and match it with your engine. I have a 2003 with a 4.2 V6 that will get about 20 hp's with the chip alone.

For a 6 cylinder there isn't a Superchips Microtuner so the best option is a DiabloSport chip. We program it to boost performance and driveability. Any gas mileage increase is a side effect of the added power, but you have to use premium fuel with the chip so most people end up breaking even on fuel costs.

2003 flash

Greetings, Does anyone know if a 2003/4.2L has been reflashed. My computer code is VLW2. My Superchip makes my truck run rough. Program VLW2-Perf_ES2.

Superchips chips are 1 bank chips and will not work if the computer has been reflashed. VLW1 is the 1st revision in the family, VLW2 is the 2nd. I don't show a third for VLWx.
