2014 F350 6.2 Ltr Super Crew Longbed
I have a noise while driving it’s not present when idling and only present periodically when driving, I have been searching for info on this.
It sounds kinda like rattling or tapping. Not using oil, no metal in the oil. The only thing I’ve found is the IMRC, which I’m pretty sure my truck doesn’t have. Any Help would be greatly appreciated. I have a planned tow tomorrow I will try to record the sound .

I also posted it here too:

I think I know what you are hearing and it's normal with the 6.2, it's the same noise you can get with a motor with long tub headers under certain load conditions. I've been listening to it for 11 years and the truck is still running strong. Ford has a pretty free flowing exhaust so yes your going to get some strange noises at time, it happens normally when you let off the gas especially when everything is warmed up, remember the cackling noise we used to get with straight or high flow exhaust. Ford has tried to stop it with all the resonators and to a point they have.
