The other day I had "Cancelled" come up on the HUD 4-5 times over a 100 mile trip with cruise. It was in yellow and the lane lines turned yellow. On the way back it didn't come up at all.
It only lasted a few seconds each time and I never noticed any changes except the message. Any ideas what is being "cancelled"?

It’s the auto lane centering canceling. It happens to me usually where lanes split or merge and the sensors can’t tell where the lane lines are. Will also do it in heavy rain or if the lines haven’t been striped in a long time. It turns back on once the truck “sees” the lines on the road on both sides of your truck again.

Thanks, I wonder if I have an issue developing in the lane detection area. Earlier without the cruise the lane lines went away several times when the lines were actually much better them some other times that I was surprised it was actually seeing them. Any idea what the truck uses to "see" the lines?

That I do not know, but someone on here would know for sure. But if I had to venture a guess, it’s some combination of the cameras in the windshield, front grill, and/or the cameras under your side mirrors. That’s assuming the adaptive cruise control also requires having the 360 cameras.
My impression was that it was solely based on the camera behind the mirror. Cruise control uses the radar for sure, but also uses the camera behind the mirror. I am not positive on this next part, but I think the only other camera where "computation" is based on the image would be the backup camera. It looks for the patterned sticker for the trailer assistance features.

Thanks, Camera behind the mirror makes since, I got a lot of bugs on the way down, while I was waiting I at least cleared the drivers side windshield. No issues on the way home
