? about setup
Ok, I have a 1967 F100 custom cab long bed that has a 351W and a C4 tranny. the current rear-end is a Ford 9" with 3.50 factory gears (open rear). I will be doing a mild 460 engine swap and C6 trans this week and I would like your oppinions on some things. The plans for this truck is a street/strip truck. current best is an 18.7sec. 1/4 mi. @4970lbs.
Will these Items work well together?
-2400 Stall converter
-4.11 gears (no posi)
-29x15.5 x15 Mickey Thompson Sportsman Tires (rear)
225/60/15 BF Goodrich Radial T/A's (front)
-Eagle Alloys wheels 15x8 front 15x12 rear
I would like to get into the 15's or possibly 14 1/4 mi. with these parts and my mild 460 which should be putting out around 350+ hp and 400+ lb. ft Tq Does this sound realistic?
