Underbody Splash Shield Replacement
At today's oil change, technician told me/showed me how my splash shield was failing (at the grommet). Driving for me is 80% paved roads and 20 % dirt/gravel/logging roads. I did not reattach the failing shield--figured nothing is better than dragging--but want to get either a direct replacement or an aftermarket part. Any recommendations? Vehicle is a 2021 F-150 XLT SuperCrew with the heavy duty payload package. Thanks!

It's a common thing, some just leave it off which won't hurt anything. There are a few different skid plates out there and one from a Raptor I believe. Part # is HL32-7222-E. I used the Raptor one, it's more of a shield than skid plate but it does a fair job of hiding the cats makes them harder to steal. you can get it from dealer or online. You will need the bolts for the side(4), you can order them with it or I used u-nuts from the hardware and bolts I had on hand. There is a small plate at the front for oil change access, you have to buy separate I just left that off. Not sure exactly what that shield originally came from but it has been put on many different years of F150s and the dealer I ordered it from local looked up the number and his system shows it for an Expedition ??? Fits My 23 perfect.
