Turkey Day Safety Note !

Okay - here we are again -

Lots of food, plenty of brew, champaign and all the trimmings...
A good day to get stuffed, an ominous one on which to DIE.

The holiday seasons are notorious for people losing their lives in ways that make no sense whatsoever...

Loaded folks that think they can drive home from a party...

People with their whole families in a car that don't recognise an impaired driver until it's too dang late....

We read about them in the days that follow, and by that time we can't do anything about it. Does this send a chill down your spine? I sure hope so - you could be someone I will read about tomorrow.

The whole idea of losing anyone I care about sticks in my craw! And yet it happens every year...

I don't want it! I want it to stop!

But besides the people that just won't listen when I say DON'T DRIVE WHEN YOU ARE STUPID there are a host of victims that get creamed when they were doing nothing wrong.

Here is what to look out for:

People that drive at random speeds (speeding up and slowing)
People that wander from one side to the other in their lane.
Drivers that seem undecided as to which way to go...
Very slow drivers.
People that don't seem to be paying attention in general...
Agitated people (never argue with an idiot...)

The list goes on. If you don't have to drive tonight, DON'T. You'll be safer.

If you do -

Be aware that this is one of the nights of the year when more deaths occur than any other that you can think of, and practice every one of those safe driving skills that they tried so hard to teach you way back when.

We can rebuild your truck.

WE CAN'T REPLACE YOU
