Today on the highway my truck started having almost no power and the check engine light came on. I took the first exit and the truck stalled as I coasted down the ramp. I restarted the truck and it was fine. It has a nice idle, plenty of power, and correct fuel pressure. This has happened two times. I hooked up my cheapo scanner with Forescan and was not able to get a code from it. The truck is getting AC work tomorrow so I can have the shop read the codes.
I found the ICP nut was a little loose. I am headed to Ace to grab a real nut for the ICP. I am tired of it loosening up. Would a loose ICP nut cause these symptoms?
