LED Lights
I have a 1972 F250 and am "trying" to go to all LED lights. I have replaced all the bulbs except the following: brake indicator light 1445 bulb, cigar lighter 1445 bulb, heater control bulb 1895?, and engine compartment lamp 631. All are single contact base lamps. I have been looking at Amazon, and e-bay, and have found some prospects for the 1445 and 1895 LED replacements. My questions are 1). Has anyone found a particular source or brand that they really liked that fit properly in these lamp sockets. 2). Is it necessary to replace these if you have LED turn signal and 4 way flashers installed in your truck. 3). What's the issue with polarity, as I see some LED flashers have connectors for changing the polarity on your truck. Thanks for any help!

I got some of the LED's from this guy on e-bay, and some from the local parts store. If I had to do it all over again, I would just buy the set from him.

I bought the flashers from him, and the cargo lamp, dome lamp, and license plate lamps from him. (all LED). Don't know about needing a voltage or amp converter, still trying to figure this all out. This is the kit for the 1970-72 Ford trucks.

Does anyone know how the polarity plugs work? I understand that you just plug them into the flasher, but do we need them on our trucks? Do they just reverse the polarity of the flasher and the turn signals?
