The steering box on my '67 2WD F100 leaks like a sieve (albeit works fine otherwise). I'm looking to replace it, but I cannot find one anywhere. LMC doesn't have boxes and CJ Pony Parts only has manual ones for '67:
You have a Bendix PS box which Ford started switching to the Saginaw box in mid 68. You won't find many out there. Best to do is to ship it off for rebuild at Red Head Steering Gears or Blue Top Steering Gears.
1967 Ford F-100 have a bunch of one year only parts some of which are not reproduced. Here's just a few the radio the radio ***** the doors the door handles the grille the rear view mirror. Please don't ask how I know about this.
I'm not sure if that is a stock steering box as power steering was only an option on 67 and many 67's have a retrofitted power steering from a 79 F150 or similar donor.
I had the same problem with my 67 4wd, leaked like crazy and was very sloppy.
I ended up going with blue top steering boxes, and sent them mine to rebuild. They were very helpful over the phone trying to identify my steering box and we think we had it, but then decided the best option was to send them mine and they would rebuild it.
That way no core return, and any other issues that would likely creep up.
There is another outfit called red head steering boxes which is similar, but remembering they were more expensive, and heard some people had issues getting their core charge returned.
Bottom line, Blue top customer service was excellent, and they had my steering box rebuilt in only a few days, so I was not down for long. was very happy with the final product, no more leaks and very tight steering. I will say it helped identify some other steering issues as well like the tie rod ends that were worn out making slop as well.
