The left tail light on my truck is dimmer than the other. Break light, turn signal, all the functions are dimmer. I went through the wiring to make sue everything was connected and connected properly. Any thoughts on this? One thing I didn’t do that I thought about as I write this is that I didn’t check the voltage with a meter. I changed bulbs and that made no difference though. So I’m assuming it’s not getting the proper voltage.
Thoughts?

I agree with bmoran4. I had the same exact issue on my truck. It was a bad ground. I ran a seperate ground wire that ran to a good grounding point on the frame and slid it through the flex conduit into the tailight bulb housing. Once there I crimped on a ring connector and it was slid over one of the mounting studs. With the back conduit cover installed you can't see the added ground. If you want to test it out, just add a temporary ground to the socket or housing an see if it helps. I would do this same treatment to the other one too. This would also be a good time to make sure your frame and cab sheet metal is grounded to your battery cable on your engine block.
Thanks for the help I can give that a try. One more thing I just noticed is that when the headlights are on, taillight is on too, but when you hit the brake the taillight goes out. I’m assuming that is all part of the poor ground.
I used a jumper wire to to ground and it worked!!!! Thanks again I just have to hard wire it in and might as well do the other side too like hooler1 said.
thanks again!
