Self adjusting lever issue

Hi,

I was fixing my brake bleeders since they are not 3/8 or 10mm neither 9mm 🤷🏻‍♂️

But by placing the parts back, I don't know if the self adjusting lever need to be hooked to the brake shoe?

Or needs to be free ?

Pivot hook is in the shoe. Did you take both sides apart at once?

The adjustment lever with the red arrow looks like the lever for a F350.

I was going to say they are 2 different types of how the "hook up".

That red arrow one I believe fits on a post and Dave showed how the other hooks.
