BBK 1711 rough idle

So I installed my cold air intake, 1711 BBK 65mm throttle body, and a custom made 65mm throttle body spacer, as soon as I started the truck it did not want to idle. The idle fluctuates about 200 rpms. MAFS flow rate is all over the place. Once I reinstalled the stock throttle body everything was fine.

I read on a Mustang forum that some guys add a larger MAF housing and it helps get the flow rate back closer to normal. I also read somewhere about a relearn process but of course now I can't where I read it. Is there a idle relearn after installing a new throttle body? I found one that I think applies to drive by wire throttle bodies but I don't know if it'll work on a cable driven throttle bodies.

I spent a little to much money on these parts to not use them.

You need to begin with what the vehicle is; year, model, engine, transmission? We are not there so we do not know and when you throw up a bunch of just letters that just adds to what is not known.

I think you already may have answered your own question in what ever you did will not work properly in your truck as the configuration and is different and so it does not like it. Just because It works on a Mustang does not mean it will work on a truck.

I fixed the original post.

I just re-read this and I don't understand what you are saying. All the parts I bought are for a V10 F250. Except for the throttle body spacer, that was custom made and the truck runs fine with it installed on the stock throttle body.

I didn't order or install anything from a Mustang. I simply said I read somewhere that a larger MAF has been used by Mustang guys when they run a larger throttle body. I was just wondering if anyone had added a larger MAF when installing the 65mm throttle body.
