I’ve been getting a prompt the past couple days on my truck for an update. I have automatic updates turned off for various reasons and I wanted to see if there’s a way to find out what’s included in the update before I allowed it to proceed. Anyone have any info?
Weird. I have it set to check for updates every night and and it very seldom updates. Even when there are obviously updates that have been released according to posts on this forum.
I manually checked it this morning and it still shows an older version. No option to update it.
Seems like a whole lotta nothing but we'll se what it actually does. This is something different than a normal SYNC update as there's no version number or anything.
I guess it pays to look around. This is what it says on the vehicle itself. I didn't see anything in FordPass, and when I pressed the update button, it didn't say much either... Once I was ready to update based on the previous replies, I went to Software update, and there was a details button... This is what was there:
LIke srkr above I have telematics control version 24.2.3.2. The SYNC in the truck is version 23163. So I'm guessing that these things are not one and the same. Does anyone have a newer version of SYNC than this?

Rev 910 is the latest I have seen for the SD. There is a Rev 10xx that is out for other vehicles
