Hey guys
Have not been in a new ford since my 2016 F450 , I still running a couple fords with cummins conversions but nothing new as far as ford , I however have two nissan Titan XD trucks I’m thinking of trading in on a new F350 Tremor , the Nissan XD’s are great trucks for what they are , I just just have at the very least two too many trucks and these titans have a good amount of trade value .
Suppose to go check out a new Tremor today , I did see the Non Tremor trucks got shorted on one non locking axle hub , any thoughts on these new superduty trucks ?
Thanks guys .
2 5.0's and BOTH have good main bearings/cranks??? you sir should go buy lotto tickets.
Both are gas 5.6 they did the 9 speed Asian and 4.08 rear , for what they are and you get 5yrs 100k , the 2023 has yet to be in the shop , how ever the wifes F150 brand new has been back to the dealer countless times , not to knock the F150 I think the Titan is a better truck .

ill always be a titan guy. the 5.6's are the most underrated motors ever. the 5.0 fumble was unfortunate.
Stopped at the local dealer who had the Tremor , someone ordered it and must not have picked it up , was a special order green build sheet . I drove the truck , not bad , I may have expected a little more for 107k , the deal breaker for that tuck was no 5th wheel prep package … how stupid is that , your building a 100k truck and you cheap out over 500 bucks , add’s huge resale to that truck .
I drove it , I expected the frame to be a bit beefier , lots of technology in the platinum , more than I need but nice truck , but not 107k nice for my needs .
Going to look at a 8ft bed platinum non Tremor , only thing again , who orders a F350 with no spray in bed line , thats not that big of a deal compared to no 5th wheel .
Figure I can allways do Line-x .
Hs anyone done any research into the one locking hub on the Non Tremor , I would think its just adding a locking hub to the passenger side , just so weird , does ford really save a couple bucks on one locking hub .
As far as trade value , they were a little low compared to other dealers , I did not counter them on anything , just still shopping around will see how I like the longer truck in the F350 .

I can't imagine the 5th wheel prep adding that much to resale value. I'm going to guess over 80% of the Super Duty pickups I see on the road have never had anything hooked up to the shiny chrome trailer ball, let alone a gooseneck or 5th wheel. More XL and XLT's look like they're worked than the King Ranches and up. Lariats are 50/50. So if you don't plan to use it I wouldn't sweat it not being installed.
Had my 450 in today to finish up the Install, Dealer had to order the vacuum line for the 450 and it was on backorder, They installed the Hub 2 weeks ago. I printed that sheet and took it with me and Ford covered all costs. Thanks ZooDad

For what I do, I much prefer the 8' bed to the Tremor package (If I'm doing any real offroad driving, I'm taking my FJ40 anyhow) and if you are going CC, then the 48 gallon tank is a huge bonus. Bedliner is an easy add and Line-X is better than the factory liner anyhow. the additional locking hub is an easy add if you care.

You realize you can always add the 5th wheel package later right? It's not really much more expensive than having to add Line-x later

That fuel tank size is awesome. I am right now down a 1/4 tank from full and I know I STILL have more fuel than a topped off CCSB, SCLB, SCSB, and RCLB.
It's annoying that the gas CCSB has the same tank size as a regular cab.
Even with the 36 gallon tank you should be getting around 450-500 miles between fill ups on average.
I am not going to pay 100k for a new Super Duty. Too many 17-22 on the market for under $60k in all kinds of good condition with moderate miles on them. 17-19 was the best anyway.
