That's the way I'm leaning... Removing the pod from the A pillar evertime it goes to the dealer would be a pain in the ****. And not to mention I would probably not be able to figger out how to use it anyway.
I dsah is just a monitar that plugs into obd port.
I have the ram air intake, idash, pedal monster and the exhaust. Throttle response felt slightly improved even before I added my new Pusher intake and even before the pedal monster. The turbo whistle is also slightly more noticeable. But if you were thinking there would be some earthshaking difference, then just save your money.
The pedal monster will give you a fun and noticeable feel, and the idash is helpful to watch regens and temps when towing. All the rest of the Banks catalog stuff doesn’t do much in my opinion but I bought it all because I felt like I had to have it to complete the package. Good marketing gets me every time!
I'm looking at a couple of upgrades from BANKS... wondering what everyone's thoughts are on:
Rear Diff cover
PedalMonster with iDash DataMonster
Cold air intake
Are they worth the money?
Where is the best place to buy from?
TIA
I bought both the rear diff cover and cold air intake from Banks. If it gives you peace of mind or pride in ownership then I guess it's worth it. I'll install them soon and let you know if there's a difference.

Reason: Typos
The Banks CAI is very much like the oem model, it still pulls in air from the factory scoop up front. The big difference is the Banks model is much larger in all dimensions including the massive air filter plus the box doesn't have the goofy foam inlet near the hot engine. It probably won't fell better while driving but it will be able to breathe easier with less restriction.
Banks Ram-Air®
+49% Mass Air Flow Gain
40% Density improvement at turbo
I don’t think I can buy into the CAI idea. I have yet to read anywhere for any vehicle that CAI helps at all and can actually hurt in many case's. Whether you’re talking small car, big car, diesel, gas, whatever…it seems the design and engineering of OEM can’t be beat. I watch a lot of those different “car fix it” shows on TV and YouTube it seems to be a consensus to throw out the 3rd party CAI and put the stock one back on.
