I would have never thought changing my diff oil (front and rear) would be such a PITA. I could use help on getting gaskets for the work. I assume the front is a Dana 60 and the rear is a Dana 80 (10.5). I read the tag on the rear, the front has a sticker on it but I cant tell what it is.
Any help? Easier to buy new covers with the gaskets and hardware?
Did you all add a friction modifier to the oil for the rear?
If it’s a limited slip, then yes, either add a friction modifier or use oil with it already in it, the Mobil 1 that I used had the modifier in it.
And the Lube Locker reusable gaskets are the bees knees! No RTV, no waiting, reusable and no leaks!
