Rear diff identification

There are no tags/numbers on the rear diff of my '79 F250, and I need to know what it has so I can get a quote for highway gears. I'm almost positive its a Dana 60, but I don't know if it could be a Dana 70 or not... The Dana 70 was for heavier duty applications, and I didn't know if a Camper Special falls into that category

my 60 had #'s stamped into a flat area on the drivers side of the rear end, looking from under the rear of the truck towards the cab. I had to use some steel wool to clean the area to reconize the #'s.

1954/82: The only available rear axle for F250's was the Dana 60 / Dana 70: F350.

The AXLE code is stamped on the Warranty Plate.
