Hey all. I just noticed today a trim piece at the back corner of my driver's side roof is flopping loose. It appears to be attached using a rivet that is nestled beneath the edge of the window. So the only way to get to it is to remove the rear window. I am in the process of seeing if my extended warranty will cover it (dealer said no, window place they deal with said yes). In the meantime, I'd like to find some way to "tack" it down so it doesn't go flying off. Any ideas Below is the piece in question:
I had mine replaced under warranty, on my 2017, when the rear window defroster failed. They replaced the window and the plastic trim pieces. The new plastic pieces look like new and the rest of the trim is 7+ years old and faded, so they don't match. But it's fixed.
