Trying to figure out where to mount my pistol within reach of driver position.
My truck pistols include a glock, m&P, sig p365...all 9mm. Looking for something that would work no matter which one I decide to bring.
Pictures if you got em
I thought about mounting a left handed holster screwed into the center console, but I got lazy and just set it in the driver’s side door pocket. I have an Sig 220 and there is plenty of room. I’m left eye dominant so I shoot pretty well weak handed.

I like to say I have no weak hands , only support hands,,,,but my normal support hand shoots like crap.

I have my fire extinguisher stored in the storage compartment under the rear seat. While not perfect, I am not a fan of drilling into body/molding panels.
I'm thinking of a 50 cal turret for those idiot drivers!! It should make them drive right🤔 now where to mount it? I'm going to research this one. Any ideas? If this works I'll call her tank and you can call me umm well we can figure that out if it works!! I'll post pictures don't worry guys
I've made my choices based on my own experiences and my friends experiences in law enforcement, military and private sector.
IMO, options like those mag mounts and even the kwickstrike mentioned here seem like terrible ideas.
Before anyone gets their feelings hurt, think about how much you actually train with your car mount versus your body mount. And if you aren't training with either, you probably shouldn't be carrying.
Lock boxes and other storage ideas are in a different category and I'm only speaking to holstering your firearm.
I'm not going to get into a debate. I use what I use and it works for me. I have had some training but by no means am I an authority.
Use what you want. And be responsible for your actions and the repercussions of your choices.
